SEREMBAN - All members of the Council of State Government (Exco) newly appointed today given a month to declare their assets.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said they all find themselves also need to be removed from any interest or business office to have it before.
"Declaration of assets must be made available to all, we declare only.
Later glad the foreseeable future people can not say that because we already have (property) already, "he told reporters after chairing the first meeting of the State Executive Council, here today.
He said all Exco also given two months to provide strategic planning regarding their portfolios before submission for further action.
He said the strategic planning portfolio aims to ensure that each executive council to carry out the work immediately in the welfare of the people and prosperity of the state.
Asked whether he will make a guest performance-Exco Exco after two years, Mohamad said this was a tough approach will be taken of any member of the executive council of non-performance will continue to be fired.
He said members of the executive council also needs personal care and do not do anything that tarnished the image of the state government.
At the press conference Mohamad said 14 portfolio was created to continue the policies of the previous government in providing services to the people.
He himself, as Minister of Finance holds four portfolios and land; Islamic Affairs; Security and Information; and Investment, Industry and Rural Development.
Other portfolios of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Hasim Rusdi held; National Unity and Integration (Datuk Ismail Lasim); Welfare, Women and Family Development (Datuk Norhayati Omar); Education and Health (Shamsulkahar Datuk Mohd Deli); and Human Capital Development, Youth and Sports (Zaifulbahri Datuk Idris); Portfolio Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government (Datuk Jalaludin Alias); Human Resources, Plantation and New Village (L.Manickam); Tourism and Consumer Affairs (Tun Hairudin Abu Bakr); Culture and Malay Custom (Abd Razak Ab Said); and Public Utilities and the Environment (Abu Ubaidah Redza).
In the meantime, he said the first conference of the Legislative Assembly (Dun) to elect the Speaker and the swearing of all members of the assembly set on 17 June.
